Parkview North Hospital Manager Financial Planning in Fort Wayne, Indiana
Summary: Position will be responsible for the management of budgeting and productivity tools and systems. Position will guide and support analysts directly supporting those analytics. Goal of the position will be to ensure timeliness and accuracy of the data, updates and reporting. Success in role will be based on: 1) Consulting and coordinating with Director of Financial Planning on opportunities for development and utilization of budget and productivity tool sets. 2) Improving performance and efficiency of processes and staff. 3) Identifying improvement opportunities to processes and reporting and developing solutions. 4) Taking a leadership role in implementation of solutions identified. 5) Familiarity with the data, and its use in the organization. 6) Developing expertise in industry standards in healthcare, particularly related to forecasting and operational improvement.
For operational areas supported, responsible for evaluating operating results, identifying opportunities, engaging physician and operational leaders by developing action plans, and successfully implementing strategies. Leads financial performance improvement of the assigned areas of service. Understands the financial results and all financial aspects of hospital operations. Interprets the results and communicating them to leadership. Identifies improvement opportunities and developing solutions to them. Takes a lead role in implementation of solutions identified.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems or Mathematics or a related field.
Experience: 10+ years in related position or experience with minimum of 5 years management or other demonstrated leadership experience.
