Summary About the Position: Serves as subject matter expert and as a senior Training Specialist providing advice in the lessons learned section. The incumbent of this position will be responsible for the design, development, management and quality control of training products. Conducts both resident and mobile training in all areas of Field Artillery (FA) lessons learned. I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service that demonstrates a practical knowledge of the subject area of the position and of the methods and techniques of instruction, which includes the following : Administer a Field Artillery (FA) training program; Research changes in subject matter field that will impact and/or need to be incorporated into FA training; Review work for FA content and adherence to training principles and policies of one or more FA training products; and Develop training materials in subject matter field such as academic instructions, training, exercises, evaluations etc. related with FA. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Curriculum Development Education / Training Program Administration Instructional Delivery and Learner Development Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11). For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
