About the Position: This position is located in U.S. ARMY SUSTAINMENT COMMAND 407TH ARMY FIELD SUPPORT BRIGADE LOG READINESS CTR, FT SILL FORT SILL,OK Responsibilities Monitor contract requirements to ensure all actions are accomplished within proper time frames to support the acquisition process. Maintain continuing liaison with higher headquarters and Army Contracting Command (ACC) agencies/organizations in the development, review, and analysis of the acquisition process to determine solutions to logistics problems. Perform analytical functions using empirical and statistical techniques. Provide input for internal/external management reports and configuration control boards relative to engineering change proposals (ECPs), requests for deviation (RFDs), requests for work (RFWs). Ensure requirements of procurement documents are adequate and accurate to include final review of transmittals, drawings, specifications, quantities, budget, accuracy, and completeness to ensure conformity to requirements for projects. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service which includes 1) Demonstrating knowledge of Command policies and procedures covering logistics management and specific functions such as research, acquisition, budgeting, production, technical data and configuration management, inventory management, stock control, transportation, and maintenance; 2) providing logistics support, DA supply and maintenance, system programming and allocation, various funding documents, and materiel acquisition policy to integrate the separate logistics functions; 3) applying analytical methods and techniques to logistics matters to independently resolve logistics and readiness problems and issues and ensure objectives are met; 4) interpreting policies and procedures regarding host-nation laws and regulations. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship. One year trial/probationary period may be required. Direct deposit of pay is required.
