Army Installation Management Command Marketing Specialist NF-04 in Fort Riley, Kansas

Summary This position is located at Fort Riley Marketing. This position is eligible for the NAF benefits package and leave accrual. Responsibilities Provides marketing functional services under the general supervision of the Installation, DFMWR, and Marketing Manager. Determines marketing techniques and strategies to increase efficiency, enhance participation, and community awareness of all Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation programs. Implements digital marketing techniques and strategies. . Conducts media relations, commercial sponsorship, and overall planning of special events. Conducts media relations with on-post media and off-post media, and serves as a representative for the community. Coordinates with the installation Staff Judge Advocate to ensure that terms of sponsorship are in accordance with all DA, IMCOM and local regulations and policies. Monitors events through execution and provides after action report upon completion. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Demonstrated related work experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. Work experience must have been equivalent in complexity, difficulty and responsibility to the next lower pay band level. Applicants meeting highly preferred criteria will be referred to management first. Highly preferred is defined as having met the following criteria: Three years of general work experience of which one year must have been equivalent to the next lower grade (NF-03). In addition to the three years of general experience mentioned above, must possess knowledge and experience performing ALL of the task listed below: Operating various video devices for digital production. Managing and creating content for various social media platforms to promote events and services. Demonstrable experience in creating marketing strategies and results. A Bachelor's degree in digital marketing, digital media, or related field can be used to substitute part of experience. **Experience must be clearly stated in resume to be considered as highly preferred. PCS Costs Payment Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are not authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest. Pay-Band (NF or CY) Allowances and Differentials This is a pay-banded position. Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. If authorized, only regular (full-time, part-time, limited tenure and seasonal) employees may be paid Sunday premium pay. When authorized, Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday). Night differential may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. When authorized, night differential will be paid at the rate of 10% basic rate for hours of non-overtime work performed between 1800-0600. Incentives and Bonuses Recruitment incentive may be paid/negotiated at time of selection. A recruitment incentive is a one-time lump-sum payment of up to 25 percent of annual basic pay. The recruitment incentive may only be offered to individuals newly hired to fill Regular Full Time and Regular Part Time positions.
