Responsibilities Take orders from patrons for food and beverages. Ensure customers are satisfied in service provided and takes action to correct any problems. Present menus to patrons and answers questions about menu items. Prepare checks that itemize and total meal costs. Maintain sales record. Remove dishes and glasses and wipes down tables and counters. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: No prior training or work experience required. Best Qualified Qualifications: At least six months of experience working as a Waiter in a casual dining restaurant. *Applicants meeting the minimum and best qualifying criteria will be referred to the selecting official first. In order to be considered Best Qualified, your resume must show that you meet BOTH minimum qualifications and ALL of the Best Qualified Criteria. Applicants will be sent to the hiring manager on a weekly basis as needed. The 1st cut off date will 09/18/2024. And additional referral lists may be issued at management's request.
