Summary This position is located at the Support Services Division which is apart of Fort Moore Family & Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR). Responsibilities Manages all real property sustainment, restoration, modernization and new construction projects for the Morale, Welfare and Recreation Directorate (MWRD) at the garrison level. Performs work of broad scope and complexity that requires application of demonstrated ability to interpret, select, adapt, and apply many guidelines, precedents, and engineering principles and practices which relate to the area of specialization. Develops and maintains a current inventory of all garrison MWR and lodging facilities. Maintains installation population and other support requirements data that are used as the basis for project justifications. Designs or supervises the design of projects less than $200K. Assists in the design and design reviews of all capital purchase and minor construction (CPMC) over $200K. Provides overall management of assigned projects. Reviews project plans and specifications. Inspects material and equipment delivered to the site to insure they meet required specifications. Minimum Qualifications: Knowledge of the organization, mission, policies, and three to five years governing project development, design and execution is highly desirable. Work experience managing construction projects. Strong organizational skills with the capability to manage multiple projects effectively. Highly Preferred Criteria: Experience managing general construction, sustainment, restoration, or modernization projects. General or specialized project management experience. PCS Costs: Payment Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are negotiable, based on a determination that a PCS is in the Government's interest. Expenses may not exceed the Joint Travel Regulations (JTR). Pay-Band (NF or CY) Allowances and Differentials: This is a pay-banded position. Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. If authorized, only regular (full-time, part-time, limited tenure and seasonal) employees may be paid Sunday premium pay. When authorized, Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday). Night differential may be authorized by the Garrison Commander.
