System Engineer

RBR-Technologies is seeking a System Engineer to support one of our customers in Maryland. This position can be hired between levels 3-6 based upon experience (see minimum requirements below)
Skills/Capabilities:
Provide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process.
Provide in-depth experience in trouble-shooting IT systems.
Configure and manage UNIX and Windows (or other applicable) operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity of and configure network components, along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
Provide detailed analysis and feedback to agency management and internal customers for escalated tickets.
Minimum Requirements:
SE3 A Bachelor's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus six (6) years of systems engineering experience. or - A High School Diploma or GED plus ten (10) years of general systems engineering experience. or - A Master's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus four (4) years of system engineering experience. or - A PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus four (4) years of system engineering experience.
SE4 A Bachelor's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus ten (10) years of systems engineering experience. or - A High School Diploma or GED plus fourteen (14) years of general systems engineering experience. or - A Master's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus eight (8) years of system engineering experience. or - A PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus eight (8) years of system engineering experience.
SE5 A Bachelor's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus fifteen (15) years of systems engineering experience. or - A High School Diploma or GED plus nineteen (19) years of general systems engineering experience. or - A Master's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus thirteen (13) years of system engineering experience. or - A PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus thirteen (13) years of system engineering experience.
SE6 A Bachelor's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus twenty (20) years of systems engineering experience. or - A High School Diploma or GED plus twenty-four (24) years of general systems engineering experience. or - A Master's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus eighteen (18) years of system engineering experience. or - A PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus eighteen (18) years of system engineering experience.
DoD 8570 compliance with Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level I or higher is required. Four (4) years of additional experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
