Responsibilities: Assists the Special Security Officer (SSO) with personnel security and related administrative functions for assigned Military, Government and Contractor Personnel. Duties may include, but not limited to: • Responsible for processing personnel to verify the appropriate security clearance and/or SCI eligibility. • Responsible for requesting/reviewing/initiating/tracking Personnel Security Background Investigations. • Coordinate with the appropriate agencies for reciprocal recognition of existing investigations and adjudications using consistent Personnel Security standards prior to initiating new investigations. • Accurately establish, manage, administer, monitor, release, and place into historical DCSA personnel DISS and local Security Database records. Immediately report to the Government TM/COR if/when potential derogatory information becomes known on personnel that affects their continued eligibility to sensitive and classified positions. • Maintain In/Out Processing Center administration duties. Accurately review all In and Out Processing prior to allowing access to DCSA facilities and local area networks. • Process requests for visit authorizations (inbound and outbound), confirm access for conferences within established timelines, and prepare access control rosters. • Identify and ensure visitors are properly cleared with a need-to-know prior to granting access to DCSA facilities or local area networks by issuance of the appropriate DCSA badge, CAC or identification. • Assist in issuing building badges, manage and control identification badges and keys. Requirements: • Desired Education: Bachelor’s degree in an area related to the labor category. An additional 4 years of experience in the specific labor category, for a total of 7 years of experience in the specific labor category, may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree. • Desired Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience conducting analysis relevant to the specific labor category, with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years. • Experience in SCIF building requirements and knowledge of accreditations methods in accordance with DCID 6/9 and ICD 705; as well as federal regulations that encompass SCI and collateral security processes to include DCID 6/3, ICD 704, ICD 705, and relevant Executive Orders.
