Summary You will serve as a You will serve as an Intelligence Specialist in the Intelligence Cycle Management Dept. (N2) of U S MARINE FORCES CYBERSPACE COMMAND. All Defense Intelligence positions under the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) are in the excepted service by specific statute, 10 U.S.C. 1601. This position is in the excepted service and does not confer competitive status. Responsibilities You will utilize in-depth knowledge of the various intelligence platforms, to plan and perform aspects of collection management during routine, contingency, special access program, and compartmented projects, operations, and exercises. You will conduct daily coordination and interface with Marine service components and national agency collection officials to obtain required assets to support cyberspace operational requirements. You will schedule and monitor collection activities to ensure successful execution. You will analyze policies and operation procedures and follow policy guidance to develop collection plans. You will conduct regular review of message traffic, intelligence information, data analysis, and, from other sources of information, identify intelligence gaps. You will advise Operational Planning Teams/Joint Planning Groups on specific findings and recommend appropriate courses of action to meet collection needs Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG/GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1. Provide guidance, support, and oversight on all intelligence collection and production management functions, projects, and activities; 2. Execute collection using appropriate collection strategies and within the priorities established through the collection management process; 3. Process, validate, manage, reconcile, and disseminate requirements and responses to customers both internal and external to the organization; 4. Apply principles, methods, and tools for developing, scheduling, coordinating, monitoring, evaluating, and managing projects and resources including technical performance.
