Responsibilities Serves as Project Manager, responsible for the overall management and control of assigned projects in the areas of tailored educational programs. Resolve issues based on performance, budget, and manpower trends to keep the project on track with schedule and cost projections. Provide strategic over-site on the coordination, consolidation, and collaboration for assigned programs. Prepare reports that provide cumulative contract requirement information for the command closeout actions for contracts in accordance with Contracting Officer guidance. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service which includes experience in: 1) Demonstrating integrated and cognitive training aspects which include analyzing, design and development of tailored education programs; 2) Developing budget processes used to submit new budgets, receive funding associated with approved budgets, and track execution of funding to approve budgets; 3) Analyzing studies and projects concerning the efficiency and efficacy of program operations; 4) Developing detailed plans and objectives to criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of the educational programs; 5) Providing new approaches to program evaluation that affect long-range program performance; 6) oral communication to develop program management briefings. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service GS-11. Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Contracting/Procurement Project Management Quality Management Strategic Thinking Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
