Link Solutions is seeking a PC Support Technician to join our Fort Leavenworth, KC team.

Non-remote (relocation incentive available)
The PC Support Technician will support the US Army Corrections Command (ACC) Army Corrections Brigade (ACB) G6 at Fort Leavenworth, KS. The PC Support Technician will provide various computer hardware and software services to end users ensuring the seamless operation of our government IT systems.

Job Responsibilities:
Provide help desk information and support; determine the cause of the problem; offer temporary solutions if the problem cannot be resolved within an appropriate timeframe.
Responds to user inquiries and requests and provides technical assistance on PC systems, related hardware and software, and standard applications.
Install, set up or relocate, configure, troubleshoot, and support PC/server hardware and software.
Install and configure software upgrades; configure and perform tuning of operating systems to enhance PC performance.
Install and configure network interfaces and Internet connections
Diagnose network cable and configuration problems.
Installs and maintains specialized software, including performing setup functions.
Coordinate support with the local Network Enterprise Center.
Services support tickets for Training Management Directorate (TMD) users.
Implement and design an organization-wide set of standards for the implementation of future and existing information systems.
Provide on-call support outside of core work hours for unscheduled events or scheduled service interruptions.

US Citizen
Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a Tier 3 Secret Security Clearance (willing to sponsor the right candidate).
IAT Level I Certification (CompTIA A+ CE equivalent or higher).
Windows workstation systems administration training.
Have and maintain CE certificate in MS Server 2016, Server 2019, Windows 10, or Microsoft Modern Desktop
Preferred:
Tier 3 Secret Security Clearance
IAT Level II Certification (CompTIA Security+ CE equivalent or higher).
Associate's Degree or High School Diploma with two (2+) years of Tech School training in an Information Technology related field.
Problem solver and troubleshooter who thrives in resolving complex problems.
Strong self-starter requiring minimal supervision.
Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
This opportunity is contingent upon successful award and contract negotiation which is currently in process.
