Aston Carter Senior Financial Analyst in Fort Lauderdale, Florida

Description:

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you’ll support the Finance Department with multi-company budgeting, forecasting, and financial management. You’ll analyze budget data, interpret guidelines, and project financial results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage budgets for multiple business units, monitor expenditures and revenues, and communicate status to management.

  • Develop and maintain budget-monitoring models and reports.

  • Assist in preparing proposals, forecasts, and budgets.

  • Conduct special studies, analyze data, and present findings.

  • Stay updated on relevant legislation.

  • Analyze financial performance and identify trends.

  • Represented finance in board meetings and liaises with other departments.

  • Mentor junior analysts and review their work.

  • Prepare reports for regional and ad hoc requests.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or accounting (MBA or Masters in Finance preferred).

  • 5+ years of experience in budgeting or accounting.

  • Advanced knowledge of databases, Excel, and PowerPoint. Skills and Knowledge.

  • Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and accounting.

  • Strong understanding of business organization and management.

  • Ability to analyze financial data and prepare reports.

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

  • Initiative in process improvement and project leadership.
