Job Summary and Qualifications

Coordinate day-to-day operational management of pathology services. Maintains systems and processes that will enhance the quality and cost-effective delivery of patient care. Acts as the point of contact and liaison for the administrative office. Communicates effectively with senior hospital and leadership teams. Develops and maintains databases that contain essential information for market directories, physician credentialing, quality data and metrics, licenses, and more.

DUTIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Onboard new physicians – Coordinate credentialing and orientation at hospital facilities and facilitate billing company enrollment for all pathologist in division.

  • Generate productivity and tracking reports for regulatory compliance and incentive metrics.

  • Facilitate completion of new hire documentation and reports.

  • Process physician application fees, annual dues and reappointment fees.

  • Coordinate the new hire employee health clearance process and ensures existing staff meet the annual employee health compliance requirements for each facility.

  • Coordinate new hire and compliance tracking worksheet that is distributed to Division Director, Medical Director, Market Leads, HR teams, and the executive leadership team.

  • Assist new hires with onboarding needs – computer, ID badges, keys, IT access, etc.

  • Provides routine office and clerical support to division office staff, which includes:

  • Answering phones/processing mail/typing/filing/copying/faxing documents per staff request

  • Task master/meeting scheduling/agenda planning and minute tasking with written report generation.

  • Coordinate weekly and monthly meetings and responsible for managing meeting agenda and minutes.

  • Serves as the Healthstream Administrator for the division.

  • Perform other duties as required.

  • Must read, understand, and adhere to all policies and procedures.

  • Practice and adhere to the Code of Conduct and Mission and Value Statement.

EDUCATION:

  • An associate or bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare, or related field is preferred. However, a high school diploma or GED is required.

EXPERIENCE:

  • One (1) year of experience in the healthcare field is preferred.

CERTIFICATION/LICENSE:

  • No license requirements
