GA Food Service (M)* Machine Operator in Fort Lauderdale, Florida

- Pallet Jack operation
- Mechanical Ability
- Ability to complete production and other required reports
- Ability to follow standardized work and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment

Required Screenings: Will be discussed with applicant; Drug Free Workplace. Job Description: This individual will be responsible for setting up, operating, and tearing down various production machinery and associated equipment according to daily production schedule. The Machine Operator must adhere to the required sanitation standards and GMPs, and perform maintenance duties following work practices.
- Operates automation equipment including: Hoppers, Vegetable dispenser, Label dispenser, Conveyor line
- Operate the frozen meal line with a minimum of down time
- Set up and operate meal label machine
- Operate hopper and monitor meals for portioning, seals and uniform cut
- Performs quality assurance checks to ensure adequate portions and adequate seal integrity of meals
- Calculate formulas for finished fruit cup product and required amount of raw ingredients
- Assemble, operate and disassemble machinery
- Ensure sanitation standards and GMPs are followed
- Responsible for the proper housekeeping and sanitation of the FML line
- Ensure quality standards are met
- Operate/monitor multiple pieces of equipment during operation production and minimal unplanned stops
- Communicate with GA team members and support teams to ensure continuous production of the product with minimal wasted time and materials
- Other duties assigned by management
