Description:

This role will be working with checking parts. Could be polishing parts, operating a manual drill press, tapping or making holes - experience with calipers is helpful for this role.

• Operate assigned machine consistent with equipment and/or production leaders’ instructions to meet production requirements • Operate assigned production machinery to produce products in an efficient and timely manner • Follow standard operating procedures (SOP’s) and job safety requirements • Final visual and functional inspection of product, as required per instructions • Identify and isolate any non-conforming product • Complete and maintain required production reports

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• High School or equivalent (i.e. GED), or related experience and/or training • 2+ years of machine operation experience (preferred) • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals • Required to read and write English and follow verbal & written instructions • Ability to work effectively alone and within a team environment • High degree of accuracy and precision in performing work according to instructions and specifications.

flexible with language skills for this role. Spanish only ok - should have machine shop experience - will be polishing parts for example.

some production or manufacturing experience for this role - they are using drills and hand tools - some manual machines and removing and cleaning different machined parts.
