PROGRAM SUMMARY:
The Diplomatic Platform Support Services (DiPSS) works in support of the Department of State to provide medical support services. The primary scope of this program is to execute medical support services at the United States Embassy and adjacent facilities in the Middle East.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Training Manager works under general direction and is accountable for performance and results of a related discipline or sub-group within a function.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Identifies specific training needs based on project processes, changes, and other factors.
Formulates training policies and schedules, utilizing knowledge of identified training needs.
Manages the delivery of functional objectives by providing leadership and direction to team members.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Skills required for this job are typically acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree and 9+ years of experience.
Must be medically fit and willing to travel CONUS and OCONUS
Must be able to lift 50lbs
Must be a U.S. Citizen with a current U. S. Driver's License.
Must possess passport book (not passport card) with at least 13 months of remaining validity AND 6 blank visa/stamp pages remaining
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English fluently
Candidates must also meet CENTCOM MOD (Fit for Duty) theater requirements.
Must currently possess or be able to obtain prior to being hired as is required for this position a U.S. Government (USG) issued Secret security clearance and/or a favorable USG Moderate Risk Public Trust (MRPT). Must maintain eligibility at the required clearance or certification level for the duration of the task order.
