Summary About the Position: This position is with the United States Army Installation Management Command, United States Army Garrison Fort Hunter Liggett, Directorate of Public Works, Master Planning Division at Fort Hunter Liggett, CA. Responsibilities Provide assistance and advice on specifications, special equipment, and expanded and reduced space to requesting tenants. Approve and disapprove requests for space in general and specialized facilities. Apply real estate principles, concepts and practices to manage Federally-controlled and owned real property. Draft correspondence, information papers, point papers, and provide management recommendations associated with planning real estate actions. Interpret policies and procedures applicable to assignment and management of space and facilities. Conduct studies, inspections and surveys of sites to evaluate suitability, space requirements and space and facility terminations. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes reviewing or negotiating disposal, acquisition plans, easements, deeds, leases and conducting real property inventory analysis; preparing real property reports or documents; and analyzing real property systems data for compliance with requirements within various laws, rules, regulations and policies. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship. Two year trial/probationary period may be required. Direct deposit of pay is required.
