U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command Supervisory Training Support Systems Specialist in Fort Eustis, Virginia
Summary About the Position: This announcement will be used to fill two positions with US Army Training Support Center (USATSC), Training Support Analysis and Integration Directorate (TSAID), Fort Eustis, VA. Integration & Analysis Division Training Modernization Division NOTE: This announcement may be used to fill similar positions on Fort Eustis for the next 90 days. Responsibilities Implements the total system management concept (e.g., requirement development/integration/sustainment) for training non-materiel solutions and materiel acquisition throughout Training and Doctrine Command. Manages and supervises personnel that may be permanently or temporarily dispersed in installations or camps across the Army. Assigns work to subordinates based on priorities, difficulty of assignments, and the capabilities of employees. Provides technical oversight. Serves as a principal Army Training Support Center, CAC and TRADOC point of contact within the Army, with other services, allies, and industry for developing and implementing training support-related materiel acquisition policy. Advise on Training Support Enterprise management, Training Support Sys integration and synchronization, materiel and non-materiel JCIDS document development, program analyses, and assisting with Army training support across the TSE at the ACOM level. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) ) developing plans and drafting procedures pertaining to research, development and acquisition of training material; 2) assist in the development of training system requirements documents on materials and equipment; AND 3) implement the total system management concept (e.g., requirement development/integration/sustainment) for training non-material solutions and material acquisition. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Education and Training Leadership Oral Communication Organizational Development Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13). *All applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade and specialized experience requirements within thirty (30) days after the closing date of the announcement. Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. Additional Information Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration. You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship. One year probationary period may be required. One year supervisory probationary period may be required. Direct deposit of pay is required.
