Akima Senior Marketer in Fort Eustis, Virginia

This role provides marketing analyst leadership and support to the U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) in support of the U.S. Army Partnership for Youth Success (PaYS) Program. Work areas that may be supported include PaYS Program development services, training services, marketing services, and overall program support. The Senior Marketing Analyst will mentor/guide the team of Marketing Analysts and periodically collaborate with Government stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders during the partnership process.

  • Lead the team of Marketing Analysts responsible for developing communication and marketing plans in support of the program’s strategic objectives.

  • Exercise professional judgment, digital savviness, and business writing skills when assisting with the maintenance of the public-facing PaYS social media platform.

  • Contribute to contract deliverables and ensure quality objectives are being met with the team's work products.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree.

  • Four years of project/program management experience in recruiting operations, and/or marketing in a highly competitive environment.

  • Proficient in military correspondence and business writing; effective writing, editing, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Knowledge of Army recruiting policies and procedures.

  • Army recruiting experience.

  • Telework eligible.

  • 25% travel to attend various events throughout the year.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Experience as an Army recruiter and/or operations sergeant.

  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications/products.
