Wafer Fabrication Operator 2-Job Summary:Performs a variety of functions in the production of semiconductor devicesthat include using wafer fabrication tools and processes, testing product,and delivering product to work areas. Must have an uncompromising dedicationto following safety procedures and protocol. Uses written procedures andprocess specifications in completing assignments. Works collaboratively andprofessionally in a team environment to achieve production goals.-Job Complexity:Works on assignments that are routine in nature, while following writtendocumentation procedures and verbal instructions. Works towards certificationon tools and processes within an assigned area of responsibility. Works onassignments with clearly defined objectives using standard procedures andtools- Supervision:Receives detailed instructions on all work. Relies on trainers and team leadsfor instructions to organize work and move to assigned areas as needed.- Experience:2 years of related experience is desirable.Work day is 12.25 hours, alternating between 3 and 4 day work weeks with astrong preference given for night shifts (working 6:00pm-6:00am).Typically 8-10 hours per day are spent standing and walking while continuouslylifting and moving 10 lb. boxes of material. Work time is spent in acleanroom environment wearing a full body, head to foot, clean room suit.Additional Personal Protective Equipment must also be worn when handling orworking indirectly with hazardous materials.- Skill:Requires ability to apply company policies and procedures to perform complextasks. Understands production needs and escalates issues.
