Mfg Technician Proc/Prod
Manufacturing Technician in Distribution is required to perform tasks to manage inbound chemical receipts and replenish inventories in our onsite chemical warehouse, insuring accurate chemical and gas inventory. The Technician works closely with the FAB Chemical Support and SCT Teams to replenish chemical supply systems in support of manufacturing's chemical storage lockers and bulk chemical delivery systems. To ensure full compliance with Federal Dangerous Goods Transportation Regulations a Technician is required to research the regulations to accurately complete the required compliance documentation for each chemical/gas shipment leaving the Fort Collins site. Technicians are required to be proficient in the use of computers, mobile devices, hand held scanners and Gauss meters to accomplish their inventory counts, Fab inventory replenishment, Dangerous Goods preparation and site warehouse restocking. The tasks and skills needed are process specific and support our ability to meet the Fabs 24x7 wafer cycle time commitments.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Requires the proficient in-depth technical/specialized knowledge of all Federal and International Dangerous Goods Transportation Regulations to prepare Hazardous Materials shipments for return to suppliers. Technicians are trained and certified in DOT CFR49 and IATA regulations annually.
Proficient and certified to operate PIT equipment (stand-up, sit-down, stock pickers, delivery carts, tuggers and electric pallet jack)
Valid Colorado Driver's License and able to drive a 26000# Freightliner box truck for onsite chemical/gas movement to the site docks.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, ABILITIES
Ability to execute complex processes within Oracle WMS and AIMS RFID to ensure inventory accuracy and appropriate lot rotation is achieved.
Manage weekly onsite chemical inventory counts, uses inventory data to create required replenishment requests from Broadcom's 3rd party chemical warehouses.
Adheres to all Broadcom and Federal safety requirements necessary to manage all chemical and gas receiving, storage and deliveries to/from the Semiconductor Fab and throughout the site.
Manages complex bulk chemical deliveries to various dispense buildings and miscellaneous locations throughout the site.
Able to work in a Team environment and exhibit behaviors conducive to a proactive, positive environment to be free of allergies to industrial chemicals
Ability to use arithmetic including decimals, fractions, percentages and math formulas and successfully complete and pass a written test that will include math and reading comprehension.
Ableto lift material per entity specified and approved limits.
Able todistinguish between different colors
Skilled in communicating with departments internal to the Division, other Divisions, outside suppliers and Contractors
Must adhere to safety requirements necessary to manage all chemical and gas receiving, storage and deliveries to/for the semiconductor Fab usage
Ability to read, understand and follow written instruction and to write messages, documentation and procedures.
Makes minor changes and checks for problems in existing techniques, procedures, services or products
DESIRD EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS
Associates degree or verifiable years of experience as a material handler
Verifiable years' experience as a Dangerous Good Shipper (49 CFR and IATA)
Previous experience with warehouse management system(s)
4+ years of related experience
Inventory Control experience

This is a Tech level position
Hours are defined as a Day Shift position with flexibility on shifting schedule, ke ping a 40 hour work week,
Monday through Friday, Start time ranges from 6 AM - 9 AM
