Poudre School District seeks Language, Culture & Equity Specialist in Fort Collins, CO. to provide administrative & clerical support to department Director & staff, including notetaking bilingually. Manage Director's calendar & email bilingually. Schedule appointments & meetings. Make travel arrangements. Support department staff with purchasing & scheduling. Maintain confidential information. Provide budget planning information & help create department budgets within grant parameters. Prepare & maintain department operating & capital budgets, grants, bonds, & PSA accounts. Prepare budget & logistical reports for each department branch meeting. Maintain financial reports. Issue restricted checks & reconcile petty cash & purchasing card expenses. Process purchase & warehouse orders. Research, organize, analyze complex data, & prepare reports, & presentations. Maintain databases, OneNote, & internal staff resources. Compose & edit bilingual correspondence, forms, newsletters, & memos. Maintain department communications & website bilingually. Transcribe meeting minutes bilingually. Support all LCE staff in prioritizing, building, & managing projects. Assist LCE staff in meeting critical deadlines. Prepare Human Resources & Payroll paperwork. Process Employee Reports& attendance. Track staffing rosters & FTE allocations. Coordinate &/or assist with the hiring & training process & maintain database of personnel. Primary contact for district office for any community, staff, student, or family that needs Spanish support. Perform other duties as assigned. Attend work & arrive in a timely manner. Serve on & attend various employee team meetings & attend all departmental staff meetings. Serve on JSSC's crisis response & prevention team. Provide CPR & first aid response as needed. Coordinate & prepare special staff, family, & community projects/events. This includes planning & preparing for specific events that target the specialized needs of those that have historically marginalized identities, taking into consideration language, culture, background, & prior experiences of participants. Field questions, complaints, & concerns regarding equity issues within the school district from community, parents, staff, &/or students. Utilize de-escalation strategies & mediation to solve high level & potentially litigious concerns. Serves as central contact for department staff, district staff, community partners, & community members. Resolves sensitive public & internal concerns &/or refer to appropriate personnel. Provide empathetic bilingual support & resources for any staff, student, or family member that may be experiencing any inequity. Interpret meetings &/or translate documents as needed. When necessary, serves as notary public for our Culturally & Linguistically Diverse Families. Provide interpretive support for over 70 languages. Coordinate all federal Title complaints. Manage incident reporting tool for the department &/or district. Maintain positive department climate & culture, in collaboration with the Director & department leadership. Serves as primary contact for financial management & audits within the department. Maintain documentation for auditing purposes. Conduct internal audits of department processes to ensure federal, state, & district compliance. Coordinate contracts for the department & collaborate with the finance, legal, & grants departments. Serve as a resource advising & counseling department leadership on issues related to inclusion &/or equity. Manage public relations, & equity centered student discipline/concerns. Build systems to organize Federal/State compliance mandates. Build & maintain department website for LCE bilingually. Screen &/or interview candidates for bilingualism levels. Ensure the success of new LCE employees through their first months of work. Mentor & trainer of all Title I office managers & registrars.

Requires: High School Diploma or GED a d 1 year of Office Management experience.

Specific skills/other requirements - Must also possess the following (quantitative experience requirements not applicable to this section): Fluent in Spanish, First Aid/CPR/AED certification, Advanced Excel (Pivot tables), Business Plus, Perform, Notary Public, Must pass a criminal justice fingerprint/background check.

Salary: $55,452.80 to $64,452.80 per year
