The successful candidate will be dedicated, assertive andpossess exceptional interpersonal and problem solving skills. ResponsibilitiesSpecifically, this position will:Receive direct supervision from the Elections Director.Collaborate with leadership in the conduct of election administration andensuring successful election operations.Exercise direct/indirect supervision of positions, employees,operation, and activities within the Election Operations area.Collaborate with leadership in analyzing and preparing budgets.Review, analyze, and explain state election statutes, rules, and theconstitution; provide advice and consultation concerning policy issuesassociated with organizational compliance.Research and track pending election legislation and Secretary of StateRules; analyze procedural and fiscal impacts of pending bills/rules andconvey those impacts in a timely manner to leadership.Investigate, interpret, analyze, and prepare recommendations in relationto proposal for new programs and services.Initiate analytics regarding the performance of the department to plan forimprovements to the service model delivery strategically.Perform special studies and projects as assigned and required.Attend seminars, conferences, workshops, classes, lectures, etc.,as appropriate, to enhance and maintain knowledge of trends and developmentsin the field. To view the full job description, .The ideal candidate will:Have supervisory experience.Have Elections experience.Have high level of attention to detail.Be dedicated, assertive and self-motivated.Possess exceptional interpersonal and problem-solving skills.Have Project Management experience.Be a positive team player who thrives in a fast-paced professionalenvironment.Be familiar with Colorado Revised Statutes, Title 1, election laws, andother relevant statutory references to the election process; Secretary ofState Rules and regulations as directed by statute; federal election laws asapplicable including, but not limited to, The Help America Vote Act of2002 and the National Voting Rights Act of 1993. QualificationsAll candidates will be screened for the following required minimumqualifications.
