About the Position: Serves as Quality Assurance Specialist responsible for maintenance in the development, coordination, and implementation of the Maintenance Operations' Quality Assurance Program. Responsibilities Serves as a Quality Assurance Specialist performing evaluations and analysis for LRC Supply and Services Div. Evaluates CIF/Laundry contract performance using the Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP) and checklists contained within. Reviews and evaluates technical data to identify characteristics that may affect the quality of the services and products provided. Prepares new checklists and appropriate sampling plans based on additions/deletions/changes to the PWS. Serves as Government Purchase Card (GPC) Billing Official and creates GPC purchase requests in GFEBS. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: Your resume must reflect one year of specialized experience to include: (1) Ensure that the work and quality of work are performed according to the contract; (2) Ensure contractor corrects discrepancies noted during inspections; and (3) Utilize automated systems such as General Funds Enterprise Business System (GFEBS). This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07). OR Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B or J.D. with a major study in quality assurance, statistics, mathematics, production management, industrial management, computer science, engineering, engineering technology, physical sciences, textiles, or other fields related to the position. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. , divide your semester hours of graduate education beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Contract Management Customer Service Quality Assurance Written Communication Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-07). Education FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
