U.S. Army Reserve Command Lead Financial Literacy Specialist in Fort Buchanan, Puerto Rico

Summary About the Position: This position is with the 1st Mission Support Command Group, Located at Fort Buchanan, PR. Responsibilities Engage in work groups to ensure the financial readiness needs of service members are met. Oversee training to team members on matters relative to the Financial Literacy program. Coordinate the dissemination of program information through the Public Affairs office Participate in contingency and strategic planning for the Financial Literacy program. Manage Financial Literacy resources and communication within the program. Determine requirements to facilitate training of the Financial Literacy program. Prepare reports and maintain records of work accomplishments and administrative information to measure program effectiveness Recommend appropriate financial training for personnel based on Vantage requirements. Provide oversight of work performed by the Financial Literacy Specialists. Advise supervisor on program changes, effectiveness and efficiency. Conduct site visits to promote the program and supervise Financial Counselor training. Address personnel problems in order to resolve complaints. Current permanent Federal employees (to include permanent Army employees) applying for a Term appointment will be appointed/converted into a Term appointment with no statutory return rights back to a permanent position. Position may be filled as a Term appointment NTE 3 Years. Term appointments may be extended beyond six (6) years, up to eight (8) years. With DoD approval, Term appointments may be extended beyond eight (8) years.
