We are looking for a detail-oriented and skilled Technical Quality Support Specialist to join our team at our Fort Bliss, TX location. This position involves visual and dimensional inspection of incoming, in-process, final and outgoing components, material, and manufacturing assemblies in meeting blueprints, regulatory and contract requirements using basic inspection methods and tools.

This is an onsite role.

What You Will Do

  • Perform accurate visual, dimensional, mechanical inspection of materials per plans, drawings, and other specification requirements.

  • Read and interpret specifications, schematics, and/or design drawings.

  • Perform outbound product inspection to ensure product meets customer requirements, including verification and validation of product, packaging, labelling, and shipping documentation.

  • Support First Article Inspections and completes related documentation.

  • Performs administrative task associated with quality records management.

  • Perform basic math skills including but not limited to addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

  • Support a cross-functional team.

  • Cultivate compliance with Quality Management System (QMS) processes and procedures.

  • Apply knowledge of industry level Quality Assurance (QA) practices to improve performance.

  • Report nonconformance findings to responsible function(s)

  • Prepares reports and maintains records as required.

  • Meets necessary certifications as required.

  • Demonstrate a track record of performing quality assurance inspections with minimal oversight.

    Qualification You Must Have

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent, with six (6) years related work experience.

  • 8 years related work experience in the lieu of a High School Diploma.

  • Working experience with measuring equipment including but not limited to calipers, height gauge, and micrometers.

  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

    Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience working with Microsoft Office Suites (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Demonstrated ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics.

  • Ability to perform configuration verification of all levels of assemblies/hardware.

  • Ability to recognize and enforce compliance to Raytheon Technologies policies and procedures.

  • Ability to work well under pressure and with tight deadlines.

  • Ability to work with a high degree of enthusiasm and efficiency.

  • Must be a team player to promote a spirit of cooperation.

  • Acceptable communication and interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with all levels.

  • Display a deep personal commitment to successfully complete assignments.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 44,000 USD - 102,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
