RMF Analyst
Location:Fort Belvoir , VA
Job Purpose
GCubed has an immediate opening for a Risk Management Framework (RMF) Analyst to support our client. We are a small team supporting a big organization, and so we must leverage the latest, cutting-edge tools, frameworks, and methodologies.
Duties and Responsibilities
Utilize the Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) to record RMF activities such as control implementation of all applicable Security Controls as identified via information system security categorization in accordance with NIST SP 800-53 and CNSSI 1253 (security controls are broken down into individual, measurable, statements called assessment procedures or Control Correlation Indicators (CCIs)) in accordance with DoDI 8510.01 (Risk Management Framework (RMF)for DoD Information Technology (IT)).
Ensure that the information systems are configured in accordance with DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), applicable patches and other cyber security requirements.
Follow the DoD cyber security policy requirements set forth in DoDI 8500.01, -Cybersecurity,- and DoDI8510.01, -Risk Management Framework (RMF) for DoD Information Technology (IT)
Qualifications
Secret Security Clearance (Required)
eMASS familiarity
Extensive experience in cybersecurity documentation and system authorization artifacts (System Security Plan, lifecycle documentation, continuous monitoring plan, Security Assessment Plan, Security Assessment Report, Risk Assessment, etc.).
Extensive knowledge of and review the Risk Management Framework (RMF)
Security +CE Certification (required)
Working Conditions
Primarily in an office environment. Will be expected to travel as needed to company subsidiaries, as well as to potential acquires to conduct due diligence. Periodic weekend or evening work is expected.
