First Division Consulting Life Cycle Logistics Management Analyst II in Fort Belvoir, Virginia
First Division Consulting is seeking a highly proficient logistician to establish and manage U.S. Army supply data, to ensure accuracy and maintain data integrity. The Logistics Management Analyst II will perform data collection and analysis, collaborate with external agencies, product managers, and other logistics personnel and ensure efficient planning of and maintenance of life cycle programs. To ensure success as a Life Cycle Logistics Management Analyst II, an ideal candidate will exhibit knowledge of DoD supply life cycle system policy and procedures, whose expertise results in appropriate inventory, reliable information for leaders, and performance as an essential part of a highly motivated team.
Responsibilities will include:
Track and reconcile the execution of contracts, delivery orders, and requisitions via Supportability Management Assessment Report Tool (SMART), Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS), and Logistics Modernization Program (LMP).
Manage and execute contracts – initial issue, modifications, deliveries, discrepancies, availability, shelf-life dates; and appropriate corrective actions; inform LMD ADMT and other stakeholders.
Track and ensure corrective actions for suppliers are completed and issues are resolved; communicate information with all stakeholders.
Manage item substitutions and Basis of Issue (BOI) in support of Product Management Offices.
Execute TLS/Prime Vendor Buys with Defense Logistics Agency (DLA).
Collaborate with Product Management Offices and Business Management Directorate (BMD) for Army contract purchases.
Ensure received items correspond with contract information; reconcile receipts with purchasing information as established in SMART, DPAS, and LMP.
Establish connections between received product and appropriate Order, Item, and Contract Line-Item Number (CLIN)
Issue Reports of Discrepancies (RODs) SF364, for identified discrepancies to Logistics Supply Office (LSO) and Product Management Offices.
Reconcile shipping and/or delivery order information in SMART, DPAS and LMP.
Ensure contract modifications and supplementary variations are initiated and reflected in SMART, DPAS, and LMP.
Prepare inventory status reports and assessments for leadership, as needed.
Research and track Fiscal Year demands within SMART, DPAS, and LMP.
Monitor and forecast inventory demand/levels by product.
Integrate and plan for the 12 Integrated Product Support Elements (IPSE) in all phases of the sustainment and acquisition processes.
Assist in the planning, development, coordination, and execution for all aspects of the PEO/PMs’ Life Cycle Logistics support under the processes of DoD acquisition and sustainment.
Assist with development and management of logistics acquisition documentation, in support of Product Manager Office equipment/items.
Develop plans and projects, determine requirements, investigate and resolve problems, interfaces with other functions and stakeholders, prepare capital assets and operating requests, and manage functional areas.
Assist in logistics automation using enterprise planning tools (GCSS-Army, DPAS, LMP, and etc.) for acquisition and sustainment operations.
Assist with other Logistic tasks as needed
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree 5+ years relevant experience, or Associates Degree and 12+ years relevant experience, or High School Diploma and 14+ years relevant experience.
Army/DoD/Military supply experience and knowledge of regulations and policies.
(Preferred) Equivalent or experience commensurate with DAWIA Level II certification in Life Cycle Logistics.
Expertise in MS Excel, Word and other Microsoft applications.
Must possess excellent communication skills, both oral and written, in English.
Must possess excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
Will be required to follow all Federal COVID-19 protocols as they pertain to contractors.
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work.
Light to moderate lifting may be required.
