We are seeking a dedicated Yard Driver to join our team. The Yard Driver will be responsible for safely operating yard trucks and moving trailers within the facility.
Responsibilities
- Drive and maneuver yard trucks to transport trailers within the facility
- Load and unload trailers as needed
- Inspect trailers for damage and report any issues to the supervisor
- Follow safety procedures and protocols at all times
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the yard area
Qualifications
- Experience driving vehicles with manual transmission
- Familiarity with flatbed, tractor-trailer, and refrigerated trailer operations
- Ability to load and unload trailers safely and efficiently
- Knowledge of route driving and delivery driver responsibilities
- Basic understanding of automotive repair is a plus
- Commercial driving experience is preferred
