Your role at Clorox:

We are seeking a Maintenance Lead Coordinator at the Atlanta-Main facility. The incumbent will lead, coordinate, and support the day-to-day execution of planned and unplanned work by the Maintenance Crew (Mechanics & EIC techs) through collaboration with the Maintenance Planners, Operations leads, Sr. Maintenance Resources, Maintenance Managers, and the planned WO/PM schedule. The Maintenance Coordinator is also responsible for ensuring that the maintenance crew follows all maintenance procedures and all safety policies. The maintenance coordinator will interact with and support operations employees.

Shift: 12.5 hr shift – 5:30pm to 6:00am

In this role, you will:

Responsibilities:

• Leading and managing your shift’s Technicians

• Assigning work orders and unplanned Maintenance calls to Technicians (as required)

o Line(s) goes Dark, unplanned Equipment issue

• Holding your Team accountable for supporting Operations & Preventative Maintenance

• Coaching and Developing Team Members

• Using the progressive disciplinary process, as needed, to correct behavior or performance issues

• General Housekeeping in Shop and Office areas

• Following Escalation Protocol

Safety:

• Risk Predictions – ensure team members complete risk predictions

• Safety Tools – identify tools/items that will improve safety of job execution

• Near Misses – ensure that near misses are reported and documentation is turned in

• Unsafe Conditions – MUST be reported to Maintenance Manager(s) and properly dealt with immediately

• Culture - Ensures that safety needs are given a top priority in all work performed.

• Escalate and prioritize Safety-related work orders and PMs

Leadership – Candidate must posses the skills to lead the Maintenance Team and take care of multiple issues and personalities with integrity

Accountability – Candidate must be willing to hold Team members accountable for completing their work, all training, and following all company rules, policies, and procedures.

Communication – Candidate must be a good communicator and ensure that escalation Protocol is being followed by all Team Members.

• Must communicate well with Operations and other support departments

Time Management and Communication - You are responsible for having a plan for all of your Team Members during their 12-hour shift.

• Working with proper sense of urgency

• When dealing with breakdowns, follow the escalation protocol for communication; otherwise use your discretion to keep the proper stakeholders (Maintenance & Operations) informed. Appropriate communication should be sent through SAP, email, shift-handoffs, etc.

Organization – Maintenance Coordinator needs to use LSW and other methods to complete tasks and follow-up action items

Focus – Our Focus is eliminating unplanned breakdowns. Use the “problem solving” tools to ensure we learn from our failures (Root Cause Analysis) and prevent future failures (performing PMs, WOs, etc. with excellence)

Decision Making – Understand the plan/schedule and monitor progress so you can make swift, crucial, and proactive decisions. You need the ability to gather information, engage the right resources, evaluate situations as they arise, reference priorities, and make the best decision to move forward.
