Aerotek Lead Maintenance Technician in Forest Park, Georgia

Aerotek is currently partnering with a company in Forest Park, GA who is looking to hire a lead technician and several other maintenance technicians IMMEDIATELY

Description:

  • Approach all tasks and situations with a Safety First mindset

  • Maximize system performance and up-time through effective execution of all maintenance-related activities

  • Participate in a broad array of electrical and mechanical tasks with minimal supervision

  • Support Production Team through basic fault correction coaching and troubleshooting

  • Assist in the installation of new or refurbishment of existing system components

  • Facilitate continuous improvement activities through broad system knowledge and site-specific enhancements

  • Required: 3-4 years experience in relevant electrical and/or mechanical role

  • Preferred: Associates degree in industrial technology or related field with 2-4 years

  • experience in relevant electrical and/mechanical role

  • Experience maintaining material handling systems in a light industry or distribution center environment strong preferred

  • Strong electrical (3-Phase, 480V, DC and 24V controls) and mechanical skills

  • Familiarity with electrics/mechanics in drive technology (motors/gears)

  • Familiarity with control technology (PLC /controls/inverters)

  • Knowledge of wiring diagrams and electrical measuring

  • Comfort working with wide assortment of computer systems (Microsoft Office Suite, proprietary system monitoring programs, etc.)

  • Ability to work in team environment
