JOB REQUIREMENTS: The City of Fond du Lac is accepting submissions for the position of Transit Manager. This full-time position reports directly to the Director of Public Works and will supervise, direct, and coordinate the operations of the Fond du Lac Area Transit (FDLAT) System including financial management, transit development, public relations and operations management, and procurement and contract management operations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities *Risk Management *Budget *Federal, State and Local Compliance *Leadership *Customer Service *Grant Application and Funding *Training *Special projects and duties as assigned or required ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor\'s degree is required and Master\'s Degree preferred in Public or Business Administration; or any combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities. Minimum of five years of supervisory/leadership experience Possess and maintain a valid state-issued driver\'s license; a good driving record is required. Knowledge of general office procedures and practices including experience in Microsoft Excel, Word, Publisher, Outlook, PowerPoint; Ride Systems GPS Bus Tracking; Social Media; Financial Enterprise; Bus Surveillance Systems; BlackCat; Appian for Federal reporting; and Token Transit applications with ability to learn additional computer programs as needed Superior oral and written communications skills; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with city officials, fellow employees and the public Ability to perform assigned duties with minimum supervision Ability to act independently and confidently in situations of stress Knowledge of Public Transportation Operations is preferred, with additional training or experience in Federal Transit Administration (FTA) compliant procurement practices a plus. ***** APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: Apply Online: https://www.fdl.wi.gov/hr/transit-manager/
