Who We Are

Come join the GPU Software Engineering team. Be part of the journey as Intel drives the shift from CPU to XPU programming model via OneAPI Xe architecture. As a member of the Continuous Delivery and Automation team, you'll partner with graphics engineering, infrastructure, and data center teams to improve cutting edge discrete graphics products and deliver on time to market, impacting the day-to-day lives of nearly 2,000 Engineers. Our validation data center in Folsom, CA is home to integrated and discrete graphics systems intended to validate and harden the IP for launch.

The ideal Candidate must have the skill and interest to excel in a technical lab environment learning new technology, processes, hardware, software, and maintenance methodologies supporting a global infrastructure built on Linux, hardening a complex set of software and hardware to ensure a successful product launch.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related STEM degree with 1+ years’ experience in any three or more of the following:

• Working in a technical data center environment managing remote software and hardware configurations.

• Server hardware deployment, maintenance, upgrades

• Linux OS development and deployment

• On-site, data center/lab environment

• Object-oriented, test-driven programming practices

• Developing software for Linux hosting environment, leveraging open-source technologies and languages

The Client Computing Group (CCG) is responsible for driving business strategy and product development for Intel's PC products and platforms, spanning form factors such as notebooks, desktops, 2 in 1s, all in ones. Working with our partners across the industry, we intend to deliver purposeful computing experiences that unlock people's potential - allowing each person use our products to focus, create and connect in ways that matter most to them. As the largest business unit at Intel, CCG is investing more heavily in the PC, ramping its capabilities even more aggressively, and designing the PC experience even more deliberately, including delivering a predictable cadence of leadership products. Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, California: $91,500.00-$137,436.00

*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience
