Our client, a leader in heavy production equipment repair and modernization services, is seeking a Machinist to join their team. As a Machinist, you will be part of the production department supporting the manufacturing of complex mandrel assemblies. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Machinist

Location: Wheeling, WV

Pay Range: $27 - $29 per hour

What's the Job?

• Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precise parts and components.

• Read blueprints and technical drawings to determine the specifications of the part being manufactured.

• Use precision measuring instruments to verify the accuracy of the manufactured parts.

• Perform manual machining tasks, such as turning, milling, and grinding, using hand tools and power tools.

• Conduct quality control checks on manufactured parts to ensure they meet specifications.

What's Needed?

• 4+ years of experience as a Machinist or in a related field.

• Proven experience with CNC machining and CNC programming.

• Knowledge of machining principles and experience with manual machining tasks.

• Basic math skills and ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

• Experience with precision measuring instruments and hand tools.
