Full-Time Multimedia Specialist - Queens

Responsibilities :
Develop multimedia assets, particularly conceptualize, produce, and edit videos to promote the health center services, locations, and provider-led health education outreach, deliver important health information, enhance the patient experience, and promote our providers and staff
Create content using video, photography, graphics, animations, and sound to effectively convey the health center's messages on social media, the website, newsletters, and waiting area TVs
Liaise with multimedia vendors such as videographers, public relations firms, consultants, photographers, and other freelancers to ensure seamless collaboration and communication between the Health Education and Engagement team and external partners
Support website maintenance to regularly monitor and update pages on the website including but not limited to the blog, events, providers bios, online health library, and program pages. Contribute by regularly auditing the website content ensuring it remains engaging and up-to-date. Will also help analyze website data and suggest ways to optimize multimedia content
Coordinate logistics for provider & staff photoshoots and capture professional headshots and images
Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in multimedia design, broadcasting, film, comunications, or graphics design, or related field
Minimum 3 years of experience in videography is required
Willing to work flexible hours and weekends, when needed
Knowledge of post-production techniques and understanding of computer software used for planning, editing and scripting
Strong knowledge of building brand recognition and management
Creative thinking with an excellent eye for detail and exceptional in project management and time management
Strong story-telling skills to inspire different audiences with the ability to convey complex health information in a clear and engaging manner
Work effectively with a team, across departments, and with different stakeholders and vendors while maintaining patience and composure
Experience in healthcare or nonprofit industry and/or website development is a plus
Compensation and Benefits :
Salary: $50,000.00 - 60,000.00 per year
