Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Data Entry Clerk in Flushing, New York. This role involves crucial functions such as processing information, maintaining accurate records, and resolving inquiries in a timely manner. The individual will be a key player in our team, working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately input information into our proprietary database, ensuring data is pulled from reports and entered correctly.

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.

• Resolve customer inquiries promptly, providing quality customer service.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records.

• Process customer credit applications efficiently, ensuring all data is correctly recorded.

• Learn and adapt to new software quickly, with a focus on detail and accuracy.

• Work within the hours of 8:30AM-5PM with a 1-hour lunch break.

• Demonstrate a long-term commitment to the role and company.

• Utilize data entry skills to maintain and update database. Requirements • Proven experience as a Data Entry Clerk

• Fast typing skills; Knowledge of touch typing system is strongly preferred

• Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel etc.)

• Working knowledge of office equipment and computer hardware and peripheral devices

• Basic understanding of databases

• Good command of English both oral and written and customer service skills

• Great attention to detail

• High school diploma; additional computer training or certification will be an asset
