Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Medical Data Entry Clerk in Floyds Knobs, Indiana. As a Medical Data Entry Clerk, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and processing medical data, providing support to our healthcare team and ensuring the accuracy and confidentiality of patient information.

Responsibilities:

• Accurate entry and maintenance of medical data in the Allscripts system and Adobe Acrobat.

• Utilizing Armed Forces Health Longitudinal Technology Application (AHLTA) for data management.

• Ensuring accurate and efficient processing of billing functions.

• Administering clinical trial operations and maintaining relevant documentation.

• Handling inbound calls, responding to inquiries, and providing necessary information.

• Using Care Compass and Cerner Technologies for patient data management.

• Administration of claims and resolution of any discrepancies.

• Regularly updating and maintaining charts and graphs related to patient data.

• Ensuring the confidentiality and security of all patient records.

• Providing support to the healthcare team in maintaining accurate patient records. Requirements • Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat to manage, edit and convert PDF documents.

• Familiarity with Allscripts for maintaining electronic health records.

• Experience with Armed Forces Health Longitudinal Technology Application (AHLTA) for managing military health records.

• Knowledge of Care Compass for patient tracking and care coordination.

• Ability to utilize Cerner Technologies for handling health care IT solutions.

• Comfortable with answering inbound calls to address patient queries or concerns.

• Experience in handling billing functions to ensure timely and accurate invoicing.

• Ability to create and interpret charts and graphs for data visualization.

• Knowledge of claim administration to manage insurance claims effectively.
