Description We are in the process of hiring a Medical Billing Specialist for our team located in Floyds Knobs, Indiana, 47119-9692, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for the management and resolution of customer inquiries, the maintenance of precise customer credit records, and the handling of customer applications. This opportunity provides long-term contract employment in the healthcare industry.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications

• Maintaining precise records of customer credit

• Utilizing Allscripts and Cerner Technologies for various tasks

• Handling and resolving customer inquiries in a timely manner

• Monitoring customer accounts and taking necessary actions

• Utilizing the Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE) and EHR SYSTEM for data handling

• Managing Accounts Receivable (AR) and Appeals

• Overseeing Benefit and Billing Functions

• Administering claims using Epaces

• Ensuring adherence to all relevant guidelines and regulations. Requirements • Proficiency in using Allscripts software

• Familiarity with Cerner Technologies

• Knowledge of Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE)

• Experience with EHR SYSTEM

• Ability to use Epaces effectively

• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) practices

• Proficiency in handling Appeals

• Understanding of Benefit Functions within the medical billing process

• Experience with Billing Functions

• Knowledge of Claim Administration practices
