Stryker is seeking to hire a Senior Construction Engineer to support Stryker’s iSuite offering for new hospital construction. This role is hybrid, and candidates must be commutable to Stryker’s Flower Mound, TX office.

What you will do:

Stryker is dedicated to providing innovative solutions in hospital construction and renovation. As the Senior Construction Engineer, you will support the Stryker iSuite offering, focusing on wall and ceiling product enhancements for various operating room environments.

  • Understand construction requirements and hospital building codes and standards, translating them into design requirements.

  • Update existing construction product offerings with new features and functionalities based on customer, field engineer, and marketing feedback.

  • Provide solutions to customer and field requests to meet operating room (OR) design needs and requirements.

  • Update and create drawings in the CAD system and part PLM system.

  • Support product testing by defining requirements, conducting engineering analysis, and contributing to test methods for verifying product specifications.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction engineering, construction management, mechanical engineering, civil engineering, or related technical field

  • 2+ years of experience in construction engineering, project management, or similar roles

  • Experience in large-scale construction projects

  • Building design, blueprint, and models

  • AutoCAD/Solidworks or other CAD tools
