As the Creative Services Traffic Production Coordinator, you will:
Work closely with the Director of Creative Services and the Creative Services Team to facilitate project workflow and print production to successfully deliver marketing initiatives.
Remain highly organized, proficient in multi-tasked workload, and own the chosen project management software.
Have a working knowledge of the creative process to properly allocate and plan creative resources to meet delivery timelines.
Perform job intake (defining project scope, collecting details and assets), assignment, scheduling, production, and deadlines.
Support day-to-day functions, including being responsible for coordinating the final production of print and promotional materials ensuring projects are on a budget, and upholding the BluePearl brand and creative standards.
This position will operate and maintain the production of creative assets of the online store, working hand-in-hand with outside vendors for estimation and production. The Traffic Production Coordinator will also contribute ideas and acquired skills to benefit the creative team in supporting the design, creation, and delivery.
The Creative Services Traffic Production Coordinator’s responsibilities:
Manages multiple projects simultaneously to ensure that all deliverables are met on time with accuracy and quality.
Maintains project management software and marketing request submission process including job intake, team member assignment, monitoring schedules, production, work schedules, and deadlines.
Tracks daily workloads and updates project assignments and status as necessary.
Reviews project specifications for accuracy and leads workflow to ensure all information and assets are included in requests.
Engages in regular communication with stakeholders and creative team on current deadline status and any issues that may need attention as they occur.
Understands and meets stakeholder expectations; obtains stakeholder revisions and approvals as required.
Identifies opportunities for process improvement to increase efficiency.
Collects production specifications, maintains departmental spreadsheets, and provides general administrative and asset management support.
Maintains the online print store, monitors usage of inventoried items, and print on demand. Measures and evaluates that fulfillments are met.
Coordinates with third-party vendors on all outsourced requirements, promotional items, and print production.
Maintains relationships with outside print and promotional vendors and negotiates and secures the best pricing.
Requests and presents price proposals for print and promotional items.
Responsible for timely inspection of print samples to ensure quality standards.
Collaborates with functional team members for continuous process improvement; duties include the development of cost-effective measures for best practices.
Ensures quality assurance throughout the creative and production process.
Lead frequent team meetings to gauge production workload and keep the manager informed of active projects and projects at risk.
Other job duties as assigned.
Education/Experience
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Print Production, Graphic Design, Communications, or a related field.
3+ years of relevant experience in project management software and print production.
Knowledge of creative development work and an understanding of the process.
Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
Experience developing schedules and timelines for projects.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Understanding of print technology, paper, sustainability techniques, and digital file setup.
Ability in the areas of layout and graphic design a plus.
