ADP Partner Retirement Counselor in Florham Park, New Jersey

ADP is hiring a Retirement Counselor IV. In this role you will be focused on increasing revenue, and ensuring compliance by conducting targeted training to partners to share tools and resources, encourage usage, and add value in order to drive client loyalty and referrals. Deliver prepared, concise and persuasive presentations in a variety of settings. Responsible for driving revenue by increasing participation, deferral rates and attaining rollover assets from our new and existing client base through financial advisors, CPA’s, and other RS partners.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for driving 401(k) participation with new and existing clients through partners. Retirement Counselor acts as consultant to FA/Client in confirming and determining their education needs. Reviews client detail and early assessment of client needs and shares tools, resources, best practices as needed.

  • Responsible for sharing process on capturing rollovers.

  • Maintain FINRA licensing requirements and continuing education. Need to maintain a high level of knowledge of investing and mutual funds.

  • Schedule all meetings in multi-region territories.

  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of all retirement services product lines including alliance partners. Stays current on new and existing 401(k) legislation.

  • Schedules and conducts a targeted/defined/specific number of meetings per week:

  • Must maintain productivity by managing their schedules based on geography.

  • Must maintain productivity by moving to outside territories when their territory is slow.

  • Maintain and verify reporting on partner meetings, participation and other metrics as noted by leadership.

  • Help mentor and train junior associates and share best practices with team.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent in Education & Experience

  • FINRA Licenses 6 and 63

  • 8+ Years of directly related experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:

  • In depth working knowledge in retirement services industry.

  • Financial services background.

  • Strong and proven presentation skills.

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Territory Management - Ability to schedule clients productively based on geography

  • Ability to prioritize and set schedule, strong organization and time management skills.

  • Availability to travel extensively.

  • Strong communication skills.

Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity or commissions. The compensation for this role is $71,600.00 - $145,200.00 / Year
