Hisamitsu America, Inc Assoc Manager Display Ops and Sales Analysis in Florham Park, New Jersey
Collaborates with sales and marketing to create, develop and execute our annual display portfolio for all channels. Drives the development, execution, and monitoring of annual display budgets to increase sales, market share and profitability while aligning to the priorities of the broader business. Builds key stakeholder/customer sales team relationships, understands their needs to achieve annual sales goals. Provides operational and analytic support to sales and marketing organization to include process and budget management in support of corporate objectives. Primary key customer contacts include Hisamitsu sales and marketing colleagues, and our external suppliers and sales broker.
Field Sales and Marketing Support
Develops, executes, and oversees the budget for all national and custom displays.
Executes launch planning of annual displays to optimize product, pricing, and distribution.
Reviews POS consumption trends, evaluates promotional and display effectiveness and ROI against objectives.
Analyzes national and customer specific sales data and assists in the development of sales presentations.
Coordinates display operations with broker, external display suppliers and internal HAI operations team.
Provides regular updates on display plans and forecasts as part of the monthly sales forecast process.
Provides ad hoc support for special projects as needed.
Sales Budget Harmonization
Ensure tracking and reporting of budgeted spending with focus on display operations.
Assists as needed with trade budget reconciliation with Accounting/Finance department monthly, quarterly, mid-year and annually.
Monitor trade promotion activities and customer business plans via Emerson’s business plan portal.
Communicates with sales agency on financial / budget requirements of requested displays.
Collaborates with Sales Operations to insure all displays are set up properly in 1 WorldSync.
Communicates regularly with Operations staff on display execution elements including coordination of material purchases, delivery to distribution center, build timing, and approval of final display run.
Syndicated Data and Retail Point of Sale Analysis
Access customer POS and IRI syndicated data as needed.
Utilize IRI and customer specific POS to build customer specific selling stories in support of sales goals.
Partner with Sales team to provide sales analysis for customer line reviews or other customer specific initiatives.
Provide analytic perspective to brand specific issues and opportunities.
Leverage IRI data to analyze promotion, pricing, distribution, or shelf conditions as needed.
Be an additional resource to access and distribute Costco POS data weekly and create ad hoc reporting as needed.
Other Administrative Duties
Prepare requisitions for invoice payment for display related activiites.
Responsible for other miscellaneous office administrative duties as needed.

Education / Work Experience:
Recent college graduate or 1-2 years of experience preferably within the consumer packaged goods industry; experience with sales and marketing functions required or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred. Strong demonstrated verbal and written communication skills necessary. Must possess demonstrated proficiency in MS Office applications.
Most of time spent operating computer
Minimal travel involved.
