Mazak Corporation Customer Service Representative in Florence, Kentucky

Description

Accountability: Provide aftermarket parts and accessories sales and support to customers. The hours for this position are M-F 10am-7pm.

Scope and Responsibilities:

Essential duties include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Proactively attains a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.
  • Obtain serial number and customer information to validate customer account and machine registration. Provide the customer open account or registration information and assist through the registration process.
  • Document customer contacts through our customer service database.
  • Use Mazak electrical and mechanical part documentation to assist customers to identify Mazak part numbers.
  • Provide customers with quotations including price and availability information.
  • Enter part and accessory orders providing confirmation to customers including shipping requirements.
  • Provide customers with status information on orders including shipping status and tracking information. Expedite and communicate with internal departments as needed.
  • Provide customers with information for returning parts for repair or restocking.

Education/Certification:

  • High school graduate or equivalent.

Skills:

  • 1-3 years in a related position.
  • Customer service skills including written, verbal and through the customer support portal.
  • Experience working with assembly drawings and electrical circuit diagrams and part lists.
  • Microsoft Office experience.
  • Experience with sales order entry or customer service with a PC based ERP system.

Experience
Experience with sales order entry or customer service with a PC based ERP system. (preferred)
Microsoft Office experience (preferred)
1 - 3 years: Experience in a related field (preferred)
