ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Assembles units using visual aids, verbal and/or written work instruction. · Prepares parts for box build/final assembly. · Assembles units with proper hardware sequence. · Assembles units using rivets guns, electrical screwdrivers, small hand tools. · Documents problems that occur. · Uses SAP for confirmation duties. · Uses Engineering Drawings as needed. · Performs ECO as assigned. · Builds chassis assembly as required. · Operates simple equipment including swage, wire prep, contact system, preset dies, cut off machines, etc. · May perform board masking manually. · May require soldering · May be required to work overtime. · Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy. · May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. JOB QUALIFICATIONS KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS · Must be able to calculate quantity of parts to be prepped and ready for use at any time. · Ability to effectively train / support Assembler I · Ability to complete department problem solve · Ability to operate a personal computer including using a Windows based operating system and related software. · Advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of Jabil’s software packages. · Ability to write simple correspondence. Read and understand visual aid. · Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. · Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables. · Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short componence, and memos.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTAbility to constantly stand and move around department, required.Moderate walking, frequent stooping, bending, and reaching required.Lifts, carries, pulls, and pushes up to 35 pounds frequently.The candidate must be able to work in an industrial environment with the possibility of exposure to noise and dust.
