What would I be doing?
The Slot Technician II position is responsible for providing superior service to both the internal and external customer. The position is also responsible for performing a wide variety of diagnoses and repairs of slot machines, with infrequent assistance; possesses extensive knowledge of both mechanical and electronic aspects of slot machine repair; provides training or assistance to lesser experienced technicians.
Responsibilities
Provides superior customer service, positively effects interactions with external and internal customers and employees, and has the resiliency to deal with difficult customers in all types of business conditions and the ability to work harmoniously with coworkers.
Diagnoses and repairs mechanical and electronic slot machine malfunctions with minimal guidance or assistance.
Replaces parts and circuit boards which have caused malfunctions and has the ability to repair circuit boards with minimal assistance.
May utilize shop machines to fabricate standard or routine parts.
Would be considered a technical specialist with regard to Slot Machines. May occasionally act as a specialist in either mechanical or electronic areas.
May be given regular assignments as needed to increase overall department technical knowledge.
Maintains superior skill levels in mechanical and electronic functions.,
Performs general and preventive maintenance slot machine inspection, machine moving and installation.
Performs full slot machine programming and set-up as required.
What are we looking for?
This position spends time on the casino floor and is subject to varying levels of crowds, noise and smoke, the severity of which depends upon customer volume.
This position is at times subjected to hazards such as electrical shocks.
Ability to communicate effectively at all times with customer, as well as all levels of employees.
Ability to observe and direct actions of subordinates/trainees.
Ability to inspect and maintain areas for which responsible.
Must be able to review and comprehend all necessary documentation.
Must be able to carry, bend, climb, squat, and lift up to 50 pounds, and push/pull up to 125 pounds so as to be able to reach all areas of machines in need of repair and move machines around work area as needed.
Must be able to obtain and maintain all licenses / certifications per Federal, State, and Gaming regulations.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
