Superintendent - Flint, MI

Job Description

We are looking for two experienced working foremen/superintendents who have strong experience in masonry, brick paving, and concrete. The ideal candidates will have 5-10 years of relevant experience and at least 3 years of leadership/management experience. You will be responsible for running jobs within our retaining wall division and streetscape/road paver division, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

• Run and manage job sites effectively

• Read and interpret blueprints and project plans

• Communicate effectively with general contractors and subcontractors

• Plan project starting points and processes for the duration of the project

• Assist with project scheduling

• Manage equipment, materials, and manpower

• Ensure adherence to safety protocols (OSHA 10 or OSHA 30)

Essential Skills

• 5-10 years of experience as a foreman/superintendent in masonry, brick paving, and concrete

• 3 years of leadership/management experience

• Ability to read blueprints and project plans

• Strong experience with masonry, concrete, block work, and brick paving

• Knowledge of safety protocols (OSHA 10 or OSHA 30)

• Clean driver's license

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Hands-on leadership style, willing to work with the team

• Ability to lift 50 lbs

• Experience in commercial construction and project management

Work Environment

You will work on various construction sites throughout Michigan, including locations such as Troy, Detroit, Kalamazoo, and Flint. Be prepared to work in diverse weather conditions, including hot, cold, windy, rainy, and snowy environments.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Flint, Michigan

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
