Launch Support Specialists Project Manager in Flint, Michigan
Summary:
A project manager Manages the Project along with the entire team onsite. They are responsible for communicating with our customers, on site employees and office Staff. The Project Manager defines project goals and ensures timelines are met. They are responsible for overseeing a project from start to Project completion. They need to be able to determine if ECN'S are needed due to errors in product or system design and/or manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will be a professional who can organize, plan, and execute projects while working within restraints like schedules and budgets.
*Essential Duites and responsibilites: *
- Determine and define project scope and objectives
- Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
- Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements
- Track project costs to meet budget
- Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
- Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout the entire project execution
- Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed
- Actively listen, probe, and identify concerns
- Evaluate project performance to identify areas for improvement
- Attend all team/department meetings
- Submit timely reports to supervisor
- Other duties as needed at discretion of management
- Ensure everyone is performing with safety practices in place
- Make sure everyone has Proper PPE required for each job site
Qualifications:
- At least 10 years' experience in the Automotive and/or Automation Industry
- Osha 30 Industry related- Ideally construction
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
- Proven ability to solve problems
- Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
- Excellent analytical skills
- Proven ability to complete projects according to outline scope, budget and timeline
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Superior organizational skills
- Exceptional time management skills
- Must be able to use computer
- Must be familiar with using Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
- Must be open to working with a global workforce
- Must be able to multitask, handle diversity and provide leadership through problem resolution
- The ability to travel internationally is a plus, however, MUST be able to travel domestically
