Kelly Services is now seeking Shipping Specialists for a company in Fletcher, NC

Pay Rate:

1 st shift $18.05

2 nd shift is $19.30

Candidates must have a high level of flexibility as start times vary between 5:00 AM and 7:00 AM for the first shift, and 2pmand 4pm for the second shift. Typically, shifts are 10 to 8 hours long, with the possibility of overtime.

Job Summary:

• Execute the processes and steps detailed in the Shipping Department’s work instructions, standard operating procedures, forms, and other associated documentation.

• Conduct quality audits on the pieces being processed to verify conformity with work instructions.

• All Shipping Specialists focus on the pillars of EMS and the principles guiding Teamship to constantly improve the Shipping Department and their own work.

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by conducting 5S tasks and other related activities

• “Move with the volume”, after completing the work in your immediate area move to another area to help the rest of the team

• Perform all work, tasks, projects, or duties as assigned to you by your Lead, Supervisor, or Manager in a timely manner and with an acceptable level of quality

Requirements:

• Must be able to lift packages 35 lbs. or less on a consistent basis

• Should be able to team lift any package greater than 35 lbs. but less than 71 lbs.

• Should be able to handle repetitive twisting, lifting, pulling, pushing, reaching, and bending

• Must be able to spend long periods of time on your feet

• Must be able to spend long periods of time on your feet (8-10 hours)
