Cummins Inc. 2nd Shift Machine Operator in Fletcher, North Carolina

DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented 2nd Shift Machine Operator to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in Fletcher, NC.

  • Continuous Learning : Engage in ongoing training and personal development to stay updated with industry standards and best practices. This will help you adapt to new challenges and improve your skills

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

Additional Information:

This position is responsible for the safe setup, operation, inspection, and operator maintenance of various Lap Line work-centers in the gearing department.

Position is responsible to produce components that meet and/or exceed design engineering specifications, while meeting standard productivity cost and delivery targets.

Position will be able to perform changeovers, setups, recognize machining issues and make machine/process adjustments as needed.

Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. The final salary offer will be determined after considering relevant factors, including a candidate’s qualifications and experience, where appropriate.
