Delaware North Assistant Restaurant Manager, Squire Resort at Grand Canyon in Flagstaff, Arizona

The Opportunity

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is searching for an Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team at Squire Resort at Grand Canyon in Tusayan, Arizona. In this role, you will support the General Manager in the day-to-day restaurant operations. The Squire Resort amenities include the Canyon Room, Desert Grill, Squire Pub, and Watchtower Pool Bar.

Pay

Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $40100 - $54100 / year

In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. The advertised pay range represents what we believe at the time of this job posting, that we would be willing to pay for this position. Only in special circumstances, where a candidate has education, training, or experience that far exceeds the requirements for the position, would we consider paying higher than the stated range. Responsibilities

  • Assist restaurant management with training, coordinating, and supervising team members, while also encouraging performance development, focusing on a positive team member and guest experience

  • Prepare cost and operational reporting, and verify the reporting of cash handling, sales, and payroll accounting

  • Maintain sanitation standards and procedures

  • Ensure equipment maintenance is completed when necessary and operation areas are always running successfully

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2+ years' experience as a food and beverage manager or restaurant manager required

  • Strong knowledge of food preparation and inventory control procedures, with an understanding of standard food and beverage equipment operation

  • No college degree required

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Basic organizational and mathematical abilities
